London-based band Stats have dropped their latest single, ‘Wet Black Trees’, and announced their final release, the deluxe edition of their acclaimed album, Powys 1999. The track is sung by the band’s keyboard player Nicole Robson, who brings a dreamy sound to the atmospheric track. It’s a relatively dark, evocative track that band leader Ed Seed describes as the album’s starting point. The band are playing their final show at the Lexington in London on November 19^th, 2021. On his decision to let the band end, Seed explains that Powys 1999 “feels like a perfect expression of what the band is about. Having reached that point I never want it to dissipate, only to celebrate it once more with everyone together.” -Dan Peeke
